Cycling has been I major part of my life.  I was a dedicated cycling commuter all through my high school and university days doing up to 26 miles a day to get to my summer employment (which was always as a sailing instructor in the Burlington/Hamilton/Oakville areas of Ontario).
Have been a passionate, year round, cycling commuter for the past twenty years while working for Halifax Transit.  I'm hardcore.  Studded tires, ski googles, balaclava, what ever it takes to get to work.
I often do weekend fitness/touring rides along the Eastern Shore of Nova Scotia.
Cycled the Cabot Trail in 2017, fantastic experience. Even the climbs :-)
